Good morning,
Today I'm not writing very much as this is mainly about pictures of just a few of the approx 280 quilts that were on display at Victoria Quilters Quilt Showcase 2019 Melbourne that finished yesterday.
All together there were approx 280 quilts hanging, now that's a lot of
quilts. Other than the Best of Show winning quilt made by Jocelyn Leath, none of the images are in any particular order of awards etc.
I'd like to apologise upfront here though that for some reason many of
my images have been taken at a slight angle as I seemed to not be able to take my photos directly in front of the quilts due to the many people that were ohhhhhing and ahhhhhing at the beautiful workmanship, colours, fabrics and techniques.
There was also a fantastic array of shops that just seemed to encourage
us to open our purses and pull out those little pieces of plastic that we all seem to have these days, and did I do this?
YES, a purchase or two or three or maybe even more...
You know how it goes!
I'm sure the shop keepers have a huge magnet on their side of the stall
that automatically pulls out your credit card....???? LOL

That's just a very small overview of the many many very deserving quilts that were showing off in all their magnificent creative glory, 23 out of 280.
I do hope that these have given you some renewed inspiration, whether it
be colour, design, size, style, etc etc.
I'll leave you all here once again today,
and next week I'll be back with more tips, tricks, ideas or inspiration to help you on your personal creative journey.
