REFUNDS
POSTABLE PRODUCTS & ITEMS
In the event that you may request a refund from me, then please read my refund policy here:
I have a 14 day refund policy, so all that you need to do is
Contact me via e-mail, for a refund ticket number, within 14 days from receiving your package.
- In the absence of proof of received date, I will assume it to be 7 days after the date I posted it to you.
- Your returning parcel must then be posted to me, at your expense, within three days from receiving that refund ticket number.
- If you do not have this Refund Ticket Number, then your refund will NOT be granted, and you will have to pay for the packages posting to be posted back to you, before I return it to you.
- Return the purchased goods back to me in their original unopened packaging and NEW & UNUSED condition.

The items that are being returned, must be packaged securely and properly, well sealed and have a clear “To” address and “From” address written on parcel.
- If the parcel and contents are damaged or lost in the postal transit, then I am not responsible or liable for this.

It is your responsibility to pay for the return postage on the refund, and there will be no refund of postage on the original postage. -
Once the returned goods have arrived back to me, and I am happy with their condition and that the returned items are the items that I originally posted to you, then your money will be returned back into the nominated account, less the refund fee that PayPal, etc, etc charges me for refunding.
- I will then send you a verification e-mail that this has all taken place.
- I will not accept or be liable for any parcel that has not been postage paid for at your end.
DIGITAL PRODUCTS & ITEMS
- I DO NOT give refunds or exchanges on any of my digital e-books, e-patterns , on-line programs, classes, courses, etc or any other digital product due only to the reasoning that being digital, consumers can easily download and copy these products into their retrieval system or photocopier before they ask for their refund.
I am sure that you are able to appreciate this.
CLASSES, DEMONSTRATIONS AND INFORMATION TYPE OF EVENTS
- I do not give refunds to any person or student that does not attend any of my classes, demonstrations or any other information type of event.
- If you are doing & paying your class with me through a Guild or an Individual Group, then if you do not attend the class, this then becomes between yourself and your Guild or Group to sort out.
The Guild or Group still needs to pay me for your class booking.
- Once a Guild or an Individual group has booked me, and finalised the numbers of students attending, if for any reason some do not come to the class or event, then I will still be requiring the full discussed and agreed on price.
It will be between your Guild or Group and the person that cancelled to work out about their payment.
- If you are doing a Class, Demonstration or any other Information based event with me, where you are paying myself, Rose Lewis, directly, then if you cancel or do not turn up at the event, then you will forego your money.
I do not refund for anyone who 'just changes their mind".
I do not give refunds for the reasoning that if I am expecting to take a class or event of for example 20 students, and I have traveled to the event, packed the required equipment and pattern sheets etc, etc and arrive at the class or event to find that only five people have decided to come and the other 15 have simply changed their mind, then I still need to be paid for this time and preparation, etc as I could have booked another class on that same day.
EXCHANGES
EXCHANGES OF POSTABLE ITEMS
If you decide that you would like to exchange your newly arrived product then please read the following:
I have a 14 day Exchange policy, so all that you need to do is:
- Contact me, via e-mail, for an exchange ticket number, and to make sure that I have the required product in stock within 14 days from receiving your package.
- In the absence of proof of received date, I will assume it to be 7 days after the date I posted it to you.
- Your returning parcel must then be posted to me, at your expense, within three days from receiving that exchange ticket number.
- If you do not have this Exchange Ticket Number, then your exchange will NOT be granted, and you will have to pay for the packages posting to be posted back to you, before I return it to you.
- You need to contact me once the parcel has been posted, with tracking number, so I am able to watch out for this parcel’s arrival.
- Return the purchased goods back to me in their original unopened packaging and NEW & UNUSED condition.
- The items that are being returned for exchange, must be packaged securely and properly, well sealed and have a clear “To” address and “From” address written on parcel.
- If the parcel and contents are damaged or lost in the postal transit, then I am not responsible or liable for this.
You will need to take that up with your postal service.
- It is your responsibility to pay for the return postage on the exchange item that you are sending back to me, and for the new postage of having the exchanged item sent to you.
There will be no refund of postage on the original postage.
- Once the returned goods have arrived back to me, and I am happy with their condition and that the returned items are the items that I originally posted to you, then any money adjustments will be either returned back into the account if the exchange item is of a lesser value or deducted from your nominated payment account that you wish to have the extra money deducted from.
The refunded portion will be less the fee that PayPal, banks, etc, etc charges me for refunding.
You will also be charged for the new postage.
I will then send you a verification e-mail that this has all taken place.
- I will not accept or be liable for any parcel that has not been postage paid for at your end.
EXCHANGES OF DIGITAL ITEMS AND PRODUCTS

IF YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND AND CANCEL AN ORDER ONCE IT HAS BEEN POSTED.
- If you decide to cancel your order and it has already left in the post or by courier, then it will need to be treated as a refund or exchange once you have received it.
- If you have changed your mind on a digital product or item and as these are delivered to your computer instantly then the same policy applies as per my refund and exchange policy for digital products and items.
